Global Procurement Initiative: Technical Assistance for the Ministry of Finance and Public Service, Government of Jamaica, through Alavarez & Marsal

This technical assistance grant provides funding for an advisory team to assist the Brazilian Association of State Information Communication Technology Companies (Associao Brasileira de Entidades Estaduais de TIC, or ABEP) as part of USTDA's ongoing Global Procurement Initiative: Understanding Best Value (GPI) partnership with the Government of Brazil.

The technical assistance would provide technical assistance to ABEP and four state-level government entities associated with ABEP in establishing transparent, competitive, and high-quality procurement processes and practices to support the adoption of value-based procurement mechanisms.
