Grant Description

This grant funds a feasibility study for the West Africa Power Pool to provide the technical, economic, and environmental for a 225 kV transmission line and related substation and distribution equipment from Cte d'Ivoire to Liberia (Project).

The Project is anticipated to provide energy access to communities along the Project, as well as create greater resiliency and enable to greater deployment of renewable energy generation for the West Africa Power Pool.

The feasibility study will be competed among U.S. firms on the USTDA website and publicized via Sam.gov as well as highlighted through USTDA and Power Africa social media and marketing platforms.
