Grant Description

This grant to Sewa Energy Resources (SL) Ltd. funds supplementary engineering and environmental studies to increase Sierra Leone's baseload renewable energy through the implementation of a 27-megawatt run-of-river hydroelectric plant at Betmai Falls on the Pampana River in Sierra Leone, for which USTDA already provided a feasibility study.

U.S. firm Knight Pisold and Co. will carry out the feasibility study on a sole-source basis.
