Grant Description

This grant funds a feasibility study for GVE Projects Limited to develop a portfolio of up to 150 solar photovoltaic minigrids with integrated battery energy storage systems that would provide 20MW of new renewable power to rural and peri-urban communities, with a focus on electrifying healthcare facilities in Nigeria.

The Project will consist of up to 125 isolated minigrids and 25 interconnected minigrids in economic clusters.
