Grant Description

This grant funds a feasibility study for the Ministre de l'Economie et des Finances for the benefit of Cte d'Ivoire Energies to support the implementation of a Power Grid Emergency Control System Project in Cte d'Ivoire.

The feasibility study will assess a smart grid control system that will increase stability of the national grid and reduce potential blackouts. U.S. company, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, was selected as the sole-source contractor.
