Feasibility Study - Affordable Connectivity Expansion to Underserved Communities Pilot Feasibility Study, through Ukama

This USTDA grant funds a pilot and feasibility study to assess the economic and technical viability of expanding wireless broadband connectivity through an end-to-end long-term enabled connectivity solution delivered over satellite and fixed wireless technology in the Federated States of Micronesia, with potential expansion into Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu.

The grantee is iSolutions Micronesia Ltd, an internet service provider in Micronesia. iSolutions selected U.S. firm Ukama, Inc. as the contractor for the Study on a sole-source basis.
