Grant Description

This grant funds a feasibility study for the State Enterprise Radioactive Waste (SERAW) of Bulgaria to evaluate a deep borehole repository for Bulgaria's spent nuclear fuel.

The results of the feasibility study are intended to inform Bulgaria's strategy for the disposition of radioactive waste and would contribute to the safe storage of spent nuclear fuel and high level waste.
