Training - Worldwide: GPI Procurement Technical Assistance Program for Thailand, through Gas Technology Institute

The Global Procurement Initiative: Procurement Assistance Program for Thailand is a national-level Program aimed to train Thai procurement officials on international best practices in procurement to obtain the greatest value for money for public investments.

The Procurement Assistance Program is made up of four components: (1) A Virtual Training Series composed of up to 10 webinars; (2) a three day In-Country Workshop in Bangkok; (3) a 12-13-calendar day Study Tour to the United States for public procurement leaders; and (4) a Virtual Forum to bring together all participants from the respective training activities for a discussion on change management.

The goal of the Program is to build upon technical skills required to be able to procure infrastructure utilizing value-based procurement mechanisms and life-cycle cost analysis.
