Grant Description

This $437,000 grant to the national railway company of Kazakhstan "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" JSC (KTZ), supports technical assistance (TA) to implement modern information technology (IT) systems.

This TA will help KTZ as it consolidates its 14 subsidiaries into three departments covering freight, passenger, and infrastructure.

By improving IT systems, KTZ will be able to improve operational efficiency and provide real-time data to its senior management that will aid in improving safety.
