Provision 2 Body Scanner System Pilot Project, through Harris Corporation

This grant will partially fund technical assistance for the Airports Authority of India and L-3 Security and Detection Systems (L-3) to install a Provision 2 body scanner at Delhi International Airport.

L-3 will contribute a cost share to the project, which will demonstrate the technology's ability to efficiently and effectively detect potential metallic and non-metallic object threats within the context of India's airport environment.

The operational deployment of the technology will also include training for airport security staff on use and adjustment of the advanced equipment to accommodate India's operating passenger environment.
