Grant Description

This $6,000 Desk Study reviews a proposal from Rolta International Inc. for a feasibility study (FS) to bring "Smart City" geospatial technology to China.

The unprecedented rate of urbanization in China and growth rates in Chinese cities necessitates the adoption of this technology for managing these cities.

An FS and pilot project are needed to prove the viability of U.S. "Smart City" technology in the Chinese market and how it can contribute to the successful management of China's urban centers.
