Grant Description

In 2003, China agreed to provide railway experts to TransNamib to advise on the modernization of the railway network.

In January of 2004, four engineers from China arrived in Namibia to take charge of assembling locomotives and training staff at the company. The engineers would also be joined by three technicians.
