Grant Description
This desk study reviewed a proposal for a feasibility study to help Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Ltd. (AEROTHAI) implement precision approach operations utilizing Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) through the use of Ground Based Augmentation System (GBAS) air navigation technology at eight major airports in Thailand.
AEROTHAI, a state enterprise under the Ministry of Transport, is considering deploying new Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-certified GBAS technology to provide more precise and effective air traffic control and aeronautical communication services for airlines and airfreight operations.
