Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China provides grant for training in Beijing

In 2023, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China provided a grant for 30 Peruvian doctors to attend a training seminar in Beijing, covering the cost of international airfare (round-trip), accommodation, food, and local transportation.

Held from May 30 to June 13, this seminar covered "Peruvian Hospital Management Capacity Building" and was held in person and in Spanish, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Commerce's Foreign Aid Training Program. Classes were held at the National Health Commission's International Exchange and Cooperation Center.

Courses were taught by experts from China and included an introduction to China's healthcare system, Chinese hospital management, quality management, hospital discipline construction, and more, under the guidance of information technology, infection control, and nursing quality.

The seminar was a part of the framework of the "China-Peru Bilateral Training Program for the Year 2023." Negotiations for the project were conducted by the Peruvian Agency for International Cooperation (APCI) and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Peru.
