Chinese Medical Team in Samoa provides medical services to children of the Samoa Victim Support Group in March 2023

On March 15, 2023, the Chinese Medical Team in Samoa provided medical support to children under the care of the Samoa Victim Support Group.

During the visit, the team performed medical assessments which included checking the children’s ears, hearts, throats, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels. These services were performed by China's seventh medical team to Samoa, which arrived in October 2022. The eighth medical team was dispatched in June 2023.

Members of the seventh medical team come from the First Hospital of Jilin University, the Second Hospital of Jilin University, the Sino-Japanese Friendship Hospital of Jilin University, Jilin Provincial People's Hospital, and other various hospitals in the province.

They come from fields such as anesthesiology, pathology, otolaryngology, brain surgery, cardiology, orthopedics, and gynecology.
