Grant Description

On June 16, 2023, the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences (CATAS) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Scientific Research Organization of Samoa.

The MOU was created in order to establish cooperation between the two parties through mutual assistance in the field of training, research, technology and policy development related to tropical agriculture.

According to the Government of Samoa, the MOU defines the areas for scientific research, capacity building and technology development in which the Parties desire to cooperate in the future for their mutual benefits to foster a collaborative framework between SROS and CATAS (See Source ID #201491).
