ADMINISTRATIVE CORE – PROJECT SUMMARY The Administrative Core will provide day-to-day support for the Center Directors and Project Leaders, and will help to coordinate all activities of the Conte Center. The Administrative Core will have four primary functions (Aims) and will include two administrators to assist in the effort. The first aim is to provide support
for center activities, including managing budgets, monitoring supply inventories and arranging the meetings and travel of the center members, as well as the annual meeting with the External Advisory Board. The second aim is to develop and maintain the Conte Center Website, and to coordinate public relations and
social media efforts. The third aim is to coordinate educational and outreach efforts of the Center including activities for research trainees within the Center and for efforts directed at the broader community; the core will also organize an outreach symposium. Finally, the Administrative Core will maintain inventories of
reagents used within the Conte Center and coordinate dissemination of resources generated within the Center. The Administrative Core will also coordinate interactions among the sites involved in this Center including Washington University-St. Louis (three departments), Tufts University, Duke University and the
University of Colorado.
