Grant Description

Since 1977, Tianjin Province has been sending medical teams to Gabon.

In late 2022 or early 2023, the Chinese government dispatched its 24th medical team to Gabon to provide medical assistance and strengthen bilateral health cooperation. The team operated primarily at the China-Gabon Cooperation Hospital in Libreville.

On January 10, 2023, the team donated a batch of medical supplies, including 15 categories of medicines and medical apparatus, to the hospital to help address shortages and enhance medical services (record #103997). They were replaced by the 25th medical team (record #103996) on November 9, 2023.
