CDB establishes 10 billion RMB special loan facility to support development cooperation between China and the five Central Asian countries In May 2023, China Development Bank (CDB) established a 10 billion RMB special loan facility to support development cooperation between China and the five Central Asian countries.
The facility will finance projects in trade, investment, transportation, agriculture, energy, and infrastructure.
The fund reflects China's commitment to deepening its Belt and Road cooperation in Central Asia and supports future project-level partnerships across the region.
