Grant Description

On January 9, 2023, Luo Zhaohui, director of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, announced that China has pledged an additional $100 million in aid to continue supporting Pakistan's recovery efforts following severe floods in 2022.

The announcement took place at the International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan held by the United Nations and the Pakistani government.

The aid would be in the form of reconstruction programs through bilateral channels to support Pakistan's Resilient Recovery, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Framework.
