Grant Description

On August 12, 2023, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held a meeting with Cambodian Minister of Public Works and Transport Sun Chanthol and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Hor Namhong under the framework of the Cambodia-China Intergovernmental Committee.

In the meeting, the Chinese government pledged to provide RMB 300 million for the construction of the high-speed railway connecting Phnom Penh to Thailand, Laos, and China.
