Grant Description

On September 15, 2023, the Chinese Consulate in Karachi donated educational supplies for 1,202 orphaned students in Gwadar. The supplies included school bags, stationery, notebooks and other learning supplies. The Consulate earmarked RMB360,000 for the donation drive.

The consulate received support in the donation from CCCC Pakistan Investment Co., Ltd. and China Overseas Port Holdings Co., Ltd.

The initial packages were distributed to 150 students, whereas the remaining will be distributed to the students at their respective schools.
