Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Mechanism holds Tax Collection and Administration Training 2023 (Linked to Record ID #107731, #107711, #107729, #107732, and #107833)

In May of 2023, the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Mechanism co-organized a training on Tax Collection and Administration with China International Development Cooperation Agency.

The training comprised 11 special lectures, 3 seminars and exchanges, 7 visits and inspections, and 1 on-site teaching, and was held at the Belt and Road Taxation Institutes in Beijing and Yangzhou, the Jiangsu Smart Tax Experience Center, and the Exhibition Center of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.

The training was intended to help developing countries improve their tax collection and management capabilities, and was attended by 22 officials from Sri Lanka, Lesotho, Kenya, Ethiopia, Nepal, Mozambique, and Nigeria.

The Tax Collection and Administration Training was the first in a series of seven tax-themed trainings organized by the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Mechanism and China International Development Cooperation Agency in 2023.
