Grant Description
On September 11th, 2023 the opening ceremony of the Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology International Skills Training Course on Urban Management, Water Resources and Environmental Conservation took place. The training lasted for approximately two weeks and the graduation ceremony took place on September 23rd, 2023.
The training was associated with the Belt and Road Initiative and its goal was to help improve the capacity of government officials regarding urban management, water resources, and environmental conservation. 16 Myanmar government officials participated in the training, from the Ministries of of Planning and Finance; Investment and Foreign Economic Relations; Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation; Cooperatives and Rural Development; Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation; and from the Yangon City Development Committee and Mandalay City Development Committee.
The Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology is a part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
