Grant Description
On October 29, 2023, a farewell ceremony was held at the National Key Table Tennis Training School in Chengdu for a delegation of 18 Indian participants—comprising 3 coaches and 15 athletes aged 9 to 16—prior to the commencement of a 14-day table tennis training program organized by the Chengdu Municipal Sports Bureau.
The athletes were selected from across India, reflecting a diverse representation of young talent. The program aimed to enhance the participants' table tennis skills through intensive training sessions and to promote cultural exchange between China and India.
In addition to the sports training, the delegation engaged in cultural excursions around Chengdu, providing them with a broader understanding of Chinese culture and fostering goodwill between the two nations.
