Grant Description
On March 11, 2023, the opening ceremony was held for the second Business Chinese Proficiency Program, jointly organized by the Chinese Consulate General in Kolkata (#107858), Yunnan University (#107857), and the Yunnan Foreign Affairs Office.
This 15-week online training program provided 60 hours of Business Chinese instruction for mid-to-senior level Indian professionals.
Participants were selected by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and had previously completed the 2022 A1-level Business Chinese training (see Record ID #s #107843, #107846, and #107847). The 2023 program advanced their skills to the A2 proficiency level.
It aimed to deepen cross-cultural understanding and strengthen business collaboration between Yunnan and India through continued language and cultural exchange.

This is a series of Chinese language program, where the first Business Chinese Program was held in 2022. It focused on helping students achieve an A1 level in Chinese proficiency.
