Grant Description

On February 23, 2005, during the visit of Chinese vice-premier Zeng Peiyan, the Chinese Government and Government of Kenya signed two Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreements (ETCAs).

One of these ETCAs (as captured by Record ID#1066) committed a $10.387 million USD grant, while, in the other ETCA (as captured by this project), the Chinese Government promised unspecified assistance to Kenya, in partnership with Kenya's Ministry of Energy, for oil and gas exploration.
