Grant Description

On June 21, 2023, China Meteorological Agency donated and installed meteorology equipment to Cameroon to assist timely accurate weather information and products to end users nation-wide, by specialists of DIRMET in lieu of other media organs. The state-of-the-art equipment was installed between June 12, 2023 and June 21, 2023, when the handoff occurred.

According to Cameroon's National Meteorology Directorate, the studio, called the Media Meteo Studio, is the sole media center in the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) Sub-Region.
