Grant Description
From December 9 to 25, 2023, China’s State Administration for Market Regulation organized a technical training course in Havana, Cuba, for Cuban officials working in food and biomedicine sectors.
The training focused on measurement standards and technologies, including quality assessment, regulatory frameworks, metrology techniques, and global best practices.
Roughly 30 participants from various Cuban institutions, primarily metrology management and technical staff, attended the course. It was conducted by around 10 experts from China’s National Institute of Metrology.
This initiative was part of the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology's Technical Training Course for Developing Countries program.
