Grant Description

In July 2023, Uzbekistan Ministry of Preschool and School Education hosted a meeting with representatives of China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and a computer manufacturing company to discuss bilateral cooperation plans.

Within the framework of the second stage of the project “Improving the quality of teaching foreign languages and computer science in grades 5-9,” the Chinese Ministry of Commerce provides a grant of $12 million to Uzbekistan Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

These funds will be used to supply 20,848 educational computers to 1,303 secondary schools in the country to study foreign languages and informatics.
