Grant Description

In 2020, China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) issued a grant to the Government of Laos for the Nasaythong Middle School Project. The purpose of the project was to construct Nasaythong Middle School in the capital city of Vientiane.

The project scope included the construction of instructional buildings, administrative office buildings, lecture halls and stadiums. Upon completion, the school was expected to accommodate 1,900 students. Jiangsu Provincial Construction Group Co., Ltd. (JPC) was the contractor responsible for project implementation.

A project handover certificate was issued on October 18, 2023. Then, on November 22, 2023, a project handover ceremony took place.
