Grant Description

On June 17, 2023, the Chinese government provided love packages to 200 children in Comoros as part of the “China-Africa Hand in Hand to Warm Children’s Hearts” event at the center of Mitsamiouli in Grand Comore, Comoros. The 15th Chinese medical aid team provided free medical treatment for the children.

The "China-Africa Hand in Hand Warm Children's Hearts" activity was started by Professor Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and the African First Ladies' Development Association to care for the health of African orphans. The activity holds great significance and represents the profound friendship between China and Africa.

The year 2023 is the 60th anniversary of the Chinese government sending medical teams to Africa and the 29th anniversary of sending medical teams to Comoros.
