Grant Description

On April 4, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in The Gambia awarded the Chinese Ambassador’s Scholarship to 30 students at the University of The Gambia (UTG).

The ceremony took place at the UTG Kanifing campus and included the donation of valuable teaching equipment to the university (see record ID#108884).

According to the Embassy, this scholarship program has been implemented annually since 2017 to support UTG students' academic pursuits and strengthen bilateral educational cooperation.
