The overall goal of the Women?s Health Initiative (WHI) Renewal is to continue to serve as a resource for innovative epidemiological research and to expand knowledge about the determinants of cardiovascular disease among older women, successful aging in the absence of cardiovascular disease, and maintaining quality of life in the presence of cardiovascular disease (resilience).
