Grant Description

On May 27, 2023, officials from the Chinese Embassy in Côte d'Ivoire attended a donation ceremony at "La Case des Enfants," a children's home in Jacqueville.

This was part of the "Warm Children's Hearts" program, started by the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD/OPDAD) and Peng Liyuan, China's First Lady.

The donations were valued at 3 million West African CFA francs, consisting mainly of sanitary materials, cleaning products and school kits.. The donations are in honor of Children's Day, celebrated June 1 in China.
