Heilongjiang Agricultural Engineering Vocational College provides RMB 3.7 million in equipment for Luban workshop in Côte d'Ivoire (Linked to Record ID#108940)

From September 19 to 23, 2023, a meeting was held between Heilongjiang Agricultural Engineering Vocational College, Jacqueville Vocational College, the Chinese Embassy in Côte d'Ivoire, Côte d'Ivoire's Ministry of Technical Education, and China YTO Group about the construction of a Luban workshop in Côte d'Ivoire.

On November 14, a signing and launching ceremony was held.

On July 3, 2024, the director of the Ivoirian cabinet signed a partnership agreement between the Ministry of Technical Training, Professional Development, and Apprenticeship (METFPA) and Unipus, a company that is a leader in digital education in foreign languages in China.

On July 5, 2024, a Facebook post from Jacqueville Vocational College referred to the installation of the Luban Workshop as a future project. The goal of the project is to foster technical and agricultural skills in young Ivorians.

It will be hosted by Jacqueville Vocational College and will have the specialties of Applied Technology, Modern Agricultural Equipment, and New Energy Vehicle Technology.

It will have an advanced fabrication technology training center and an electric and electronic technology training center.

The equipment paid for by Heilongjiang included 2 sets of tractor teaching and training platforms (拖拉机整机教学实训平台) at a price of CNY 380,000 each, 1 tractor virtual simulation teaching system (拖拉机整机虚拟仿真教学系统) at CNY 270,000, 2 sets of tractor engine installation and adjustment teaching and training platforms (拖拉机发动机装调教学实训平台) at CNY 100,000 each, 2 sets of tractor transmission installation and adjustment teaching and training platforms (拖拉机变速器装调教学实训平台) at CNY 80,000 each, 2 sets of vehicle linkage tractor engine teaching and training platforms ( 整车联动拖拉机发动机教学实训平台) at CNY 310,000 each, 2 sets of vehicle linkage tractor chassis teaching and training platforms (整车联动拖拉机底盘教学实训平台) at CNY 240,000 each, 2 sets of vehicle linkage tractor electrical teaching and training platforms (整车联动拖拉机电气教学实训平台) at CNY 200,000 each, 2 sets of pneumatic and hydraulic teaching and training platforms (气动液压教学实训平台) at CNY 60,000 each, 4 sets of engine principles and flip frames (including special tools and tooling) (发动机原理及翻转架（含专用工具及工装)) at CNY 69,800 each, and 2 sets of tools, instruments and infrastructure (工具仪器和基础设施) at CNY 220,000 each, for a total of CNY 3,729,200.

The contract for this equipment was signed February 28, 2024, and implemented by Beijing Baitong Kexin Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd.

In 2020, Tianjin University of Technology and Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny also jointly built a Luban Workshop (see record ID #87805).
