Grant Description

On July 17, 2023, the Burundian government hosted a farewell ceremony for the 21st Chinese medical team in Burundi and welcomed the 22nd Chinese medical team from Qinghai Province.

The team went to work at hospitals in Bujumbura, Gitega, and Mpanda, including Prince Regent Charles Hospital, Gitega Regional Hospital, and Mpanda Hospital. A free clinic was provided in Mpanda Village (穆邦达山村).

On August 6, 2024, the 22nd medical team's tour ended and it was replaced by the 23rd medical team, also from Qinghai Province.
