Grant Description
On February 24, 2023, the Chinese Ambassador to Vanuatu, Li Minggang, handed over materials donated by the Chinese government to the Vanuatu National Council of Chiefs.
The materials will be used to support the reconstruction of the meeting hall of the National Council of Chiefs of Vanuatu after it burned down.
This is the first batch of materials donated to the Malvatumauri National Council of Chiefs for the new Chiefs’ Nakamal.

1) The Chinese project title is '席捐赠瓦全国酋长委员会物资交接仪式'2) Source #204840 (Facebook post by Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Vanuatu) states the Chinese Embassy donated the materials, however, 'Unspecified Chinese Government Institution' is used because, on the Embassy website, it says that China donated the materials.
