Grant Description

On August 25, 2023, the Chinese Ambassador to Vanuatu Li Minggang attended the handover ceremony of a batch of police supplies (worth VUV 34.43 million) to improve the law enforcement conditions of the Vanuatu Police Force.

The Ambassador also attended the launch ceremony for the first Chinese police expert group sent to Vanuatu (see Record ID #104566) The batch of supplies included 1,036 sets of operational suits and fast-dry operational suits, 1,036 sets of training T-shirts, 748 pairs of tactical gloves, 70 sets of tactical belts, handcuffs, police flashlights, and police batons, as well as 2 sets of alcohol breathalyzer parts.
