Grant Description

On September 18, 2023, the Chinese International Development Cooperation Agency announced that the Chinese government would provide RMB 30 million as emergency humanitarian aid to Libya to carry out rescue work after the floods caused by Cyclone Daniel.

The handover ceremony took place on September 24, with 90 tons of emergency supplies including tents, blankets, life vests, manual pressurized water treatment equipment, patient monitors, and portable color Doppler ultrasound diagnostic equipment arriving at Benina Airport in the city of Benghazi.
