Grant Description
On January 10, 2023, the Libreville team of the 24th Chinese medical team in Gabon donated 15 categories of demanding medical supplies, including acupuncture needles and traditional Chinese medicine topical medications, to the Sino-Gabonese Cooperation Hospital. These medical supplies are primarily intended to meet the daily diagnostic and treatment needs of the hospital.
The hospital serves a densely populated area with relatively limited medical resources, and these donations will help better serve the people of Gabon, benefiting more residents in the surrounding areas.
The medical supplies will be used to treat more Gabonese patients, allowing more people to learn about and experience traditional Chinese medicine.
According to hospital leadership, the donation is expected to significantly improve patient care capacity in a densely populated and underserved region.
