Grant Description

On September 1, 2023, the 25th Chinese (Shanxi) Medical Aid Team to Lomé, Togo, donated a batch of medicines and medical supplies to Lomé Regional Central Hospital.

The medical team also donated a large number of antimalarial drugs in addition to antibiotics for the treatment of respiratory diseases, surgeries, and infusions.

The donation is valued at 11.5 million West African FCFA, and will greatly alleviated the shortage of medicines and equipment in the hospital and largely met the needs of the normal operation of the hospital. The 25th Chinese Medical Team arrived in Togo in 2022 (captured in record ID #103385).
