Grant Description

On March 26th 2023, a handover ceremony was held at Fiji Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Services Center for Chinese anti-epidemic aid to Fiji.

The donation was worth an estimated FJD $1,000,000 and included 500,000 pieces of antigen detection reagents, medical masks, protective clothing, protective face shields, infrared thermometers and tents.

According to Chinese Ambassador Zhou Jian's speech at the ceremony, the aid had actually been delivered in two batches in May and June of 2022.
