Grant Description

From October 11 to October 31, 2023, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) funded an overseas technical training course on maternal and child health care and nursing technology at St. George’s General Hospital in Grenada.

The program was implemented by Hunan Children’s Hospital and trained 26 local midwives, nurses, and nursing administrators. The training introduced 10 maternal and child health techniques developed in China.

Medical Assistance to the Caribbean: Introducing 10 Hunan’s Appropriate Technologies for Maternal and Child Health to Grenada Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.
