Grant Description
On October 15, 2023, the first batch of earthquake relief supplies donated by the Chinese government to Afghanistan arrived in Herat, Herat Province in northwestern Afghanistan, including tents, folding beds, thick blankets, clothes and other humanitarian supplies. Aid materials donated amount to around RMB 30 million.
On the same day, a handover ceremony for China's first batch of earthquake relief supplies to Afghanistan is held at the Department of Disaster Management of the Afghan Interim Government. The Chinese Red Cross also provided RMB 500,000 worth of relief supplies worth around RMB 500,000 (Record ID #103720).
The second batch of donation was made on November 16, 2023 (See Record ID #103724).
