Grant Description

On January 6, 2021, the 10th Chinese Medical Team to Ghana arrived in Accra to begin their duties at Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Assembly Hospital.

The team included 11 Chinese health workers with specialties including radiology, cardiovascular medicine, neurology, acupuncture, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and obstetrics and gynecology.

During their time in Ghana, the 10th Chinese Medical Team treated over 16,000 patients, carried out trainings and technology exchanges, and worked to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. The 10th Chinese Medical Team completed their mission on March 9, 2022, and returned to China shortly after.
