Grant Description

On June 27, 2023, China hands over the emergency food aid to Mali. A grand handover ceremony is held the same day in Bamako. Ambassador Chen and Director Ali sign the handover certificate and deliver a warm speech.

This donation is made in implementation of the "Global Development Initiative" proposed by President Xi Jinping and the "Nine Projects" for China-Africa cooperation, and made to aid the 2023 National Food Insecurity Response Plan launched by Mali President Goita.
