Grant Description

On July 18, 2023, the opening ceremony of the "Scriptum Room" exhibition hall of the Costa Rican Children's Museum was held in San José, Costa Rica.

The ceremony was notably attended by Chinese Ambassador to Costa Rica, Tang Heng, former Colombian President Calderon, and Director of the Children's Museum Riveros, given that the exhibition hall's construction was funded by a donation from the Chinese Embassy in Costa Rica.

The Chinese Embassy's grant was purposefully intended to promote/contribute to the development of spaces for children that are both educational and entertaining.

The idea for the exhibition hall was born two years prior to its opening, and following 14 months of collaborative work between the Chinese Embassy and the museum.
