On November 19, 2019, Chinese agricultural experts from the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences (CATAS) conducted a training course on cassava production and processing and tropical fruit tree planting technology for local farmers at the Republic of Congo's Agricultural Technology Demonstration Center (ATDC) near the capital Brazzaville.

The monetary value of the training course is unknown.
