Grant Description
On August 30, 2022, during a handover ceremony for the Small Cricket Field Lighting Project at Vole Playing Field (captured in Record ID#103378), the Chinese Ambassador to Grenada, Wei Hongtian, handed over a check worth USD 50,000 to the Grenadian Prime Minister and Minister of Disaster Management Dickon Mitchell.
The donation was intended to help the Grenada National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) bolster its disaster resilience and mitigation mechanisms following severe weather in the country.
